Siddaramaiah 13 questions to CM Basavaraja Bommai about tricolor flag

Government of Karnataka published in the newspaper 'Why tricolor?' Siddaramaiah, the leader of the Congress Legislature Party, who tweeted the advertisement, posed 13 questions to Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai.

Thank you on behalf of the people of the state for accepting the national flag. In addition to this, he has started asking questions that I believe he will patiently answer the thirteen questions that I am asking on behalf of the people.

1) What is the reason why the national flag which the country is proud of was not hoisted on the office of RSS for 52 years in independent India?

2) Why were the patriotic youths caught and handed over to the police when they came to hoist the national flag in 2001?

3) What is your and your party's current opinion about the stand of RSS leaders KB Hedgewar and MS Golwalkar who were advocating that the country should have the tricolor flag and not the Bhagwadhwaja?

4) Do you despise what RSS convenor Golwalkar said in his 'Bunch of Thoughts' that the tricolor flag was not inspired by national vision, truth, history or heritage, it is a borrowing from the slogans of the French Revolution?.

5) Do you still agree with Golwalkar's statement that the tricolor flag was born out of the freedom fighters' obsession with the slogans of the French Revolution - liberty, equality, and fraternity?

6) Indians cannot accept the national flag, three is bad omen. Do you agree with the article published by the RSS Mukhvani Organizer in 1947 that the tricolor will certainly not only have a psychological effect on the country but also be harmful?

7) Do you think the RSS will change its stand on the national flag and support the 'Har Ghar Mein Tiranga' programme?

9) In commemoration of the Amrita Mahotsav of Independence, what is the reason why only Mohan Bhagwat, the leader of RSS Sarsangha, did not follow the Prime Minister's call even though the people of the country were told to put up the national flag on their Twitter DP?

10) Don't you think it is an insult to the national flag to amend the flag code which has been in force for 75 years and to allow the manufacture of the national flag in polyester fabric instead of cotton and silk fabric?

11) Have you noticed that hundreds of workers of Garaga Khadi Gramdyoga Kendra are on strike as the flag code has been amended to allow the use of polyester cloth?

12) Don't you feel that you are undermining the respect for the national flag by taking money from the common people and selling the national flag for the sole reason of obeying the call given by PM Modi?

13) How do you justify the influx of cheap national flags from countries like China as the BJP government promoting Make in India has amended the flag code and allowed the use of polyester fabric?
